Michael is an experienced attorney with a diverse practice background. He has worked in the various civil cases that the firm handles, ranging from the representation of large national corporations to the equally important small businesses in our community. Michael has proven himself to be an integral part of every trial team, from the initial case intake and investigation, through to successful case resolution. Michael’s work ethic and skill have led to the development of what we as a firm strive for, trusted relationships with our clients.
Prior to his work in civil litigation, Michael served the state of New Mexico, prosecuting numerous misdemeanor and felony cases, with a focus on sex crimes, crimes against children, and domestic violence.
Michael also served as a United States Marine Corps officer in several capacities. As a senior prosecutor, he processed over one hundred misdemeanor and felony offenses. He assisted the Office of Military Commissions with the prosecution of the 9/11 conspirators. He managed a legal assistance office, providing diverse legal services to hundreds of service members and their families. He also served with Regimental Combat Team 3 in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, as well as the international and operational law office for the Marine Expeditionary Forces throughout Asia.
Outside the office, Michael enjoys working out and engaging in outdoor activities. He is also an avid world traveler and pursues adventures with his family.
