Ms. Corbett’s diverse legal career has a foundation in the business and commercial litigation side of the gaming industry, with a focus on tech and government related matters. Her experience managing the legal issues and processes for the industry’s government and regulatory affairs is bolstered by her extensive research, writing, and analytical skills. During her clerkship for the Honorable Nancy Allf (Civil presiding Judge of the Eighth Judicial District Court, Las Vegas, Nevada), split civil and business docket, Ms. Corbett was responsible for drafting orders and bench memoranda for everything from receiverships to personal injury to mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Corbett currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Home-to-Hired Committee of the Military Spouse J.D. Network and she is the founding board member of the fast-growing professional organization, Latina Professionals. She is also an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). Additionally, Nicole Corbett is an active participant of Huellas (‘footprints’ in Spanish), a nationally recognized four-tier mentorship program established at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas which pairs a high school student, undergraduate student, law student, and attorney together in order to create a legal pipeline of support for the next generation of successful attorneys.
Ms. Corbett was born and raised in sunny Southern California, and is bi-literate and bi-lingual in Spanish. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. She also loves to travel and dance.
