Anthony Tamburro’s primary practice areas include trucking and transportation defense, insurance defense, premises liability defense, and commercial litigation. He has also represented clients in products liability, toxic tort, white-collar criminal and bankruptcy matters. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and Florida.

Mr. Tamburro began his career at a boutique litigation firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There he appeared in both state and federal court, representing clients in bankruptcy litigation, receiverships, and conservatorships. He then joined a prestigious trial firm in Seattle, Washington, where he represented Fortune 500 companies, local governments, and individuals in both civil and criminal matters.

Mr. Tamburro graduated with honors from Emory Law School in Atlanta, Georgia. There he was a managing editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journaland his comment was published in the Journal’s Volume 34. During law school, Anthony interned with a bankruptcy judge, the United States Trustee Program, and the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. He also assisted Professor Martha Grace Duncan write her article What Not to do When Your Roommate is Murdered in Italy: Amanda Knox, her “Strange” Behavior, and the Italian Legal System. Prior to law school, Mr. Tamburro graduated from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York, where he was the broadcast voice of the women’s hockey and men’s lacrosse teams.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys watching his Australian Cattle Dog chase tennis balls, barbecuing, and anxiously listening to New York Mets games.
