 Ms. Foster focuses primarily in transportation law, landlord/tenant law, commercial litigation, and hospitality law. Ms. Foster’s past litigation experience includes representing individuals in removal and deportation cases before the Arlington and Baltimore Immigration Courts and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Ms. Foster focused primarily on defensive asylum by rebuilding family structures and providing guidance and advice on matters such as visa applications, green cards, citizenship and naturalization, and deportation issues.

Prior to becoming a litigator, Ms. Foster served as a law clerk at Hanover Circuit Court for both the Honorable Judge Kelly and J. Overton Harris. As a law clerk, Ms. Foster performed extensive legal research on various areas of law including, but not limited to, contracts, trusts and estates, torts, property, and family law.

Ms. Foster graduated Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law. While in law school Ms. Foster was a Certified Legal Intern with the Criminal Defense Clinic. While in the clinic, Ms. Foster tried numerous misdemeanor cases including larceny, DUI, assault, trespassing, and probation violations in the Durham County District Court under her Third- Year Practice Certificate. Ms. Foster interned for two consecutive summers with the Office of the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney on the General Prosecution and Drug Teams.

Outside of practicing law, Ms. Foster is active in her community. She enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
