Mr. Siegel represents individuals and businesses in state and federal courts across the eastern United States. Mr. Siegel began his legal career as a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney with a firm in Alexandria, Virginia, where he gained substantial first-chair litigation experience in the Courts of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. During that time, Mr. Siegel distinguished himself as a trial attorney capable of thoroughly and skillfully managing a substantial caseload, often trying multiple cases in a single month, and ultimately overseeing the firm’s litigation team in its Virginia office. During this time, Mr. Siegel also became an expert on several very complex, unresolved areas of Virginia law, including Virginia’s Doctrine of Sovereign Immunity and the Virginia Uninsured Motorist Act. Subsequently, Mr. Siegel joined another Alexandria firm, during which time he expanded the scope of his practice to include litigating complex commercial and business disputes, real estate and landlord-tenant matters, antitrust and unfair competition claims, First and Fourteenth Amendment matters, and even presenting oral arguments before the Virginia Supreme Court.

Mr. Siegel was an active member of his law school’s Trial Advocacy Board, competing in numerous competitions and several times winning awards for his performance. Mr. Siegel also clerked for the District Court Litigation Division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, during which time he assisted with inter-agency litigation and the adjudication of administrative claims on a wide range of issues, including tort claims, contract and procurement disputes, Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment due process claims, and legal disputes involving both publicly- and privately-owned detention facilities. In his free time, Mr. Siegel enjoys reading, working out, cooking, and spoiling his dog, Boudreaux. Whenever possible, Mr. Siegel travels home to visit his family, go fishing, and bask in the Florida sun.
