Setliff Law is pleased to announce Kevin Streit is the firm’s newest partner. Kevin, who has been a civil litigator for nearly 25 years, came on board in 2020, and in that time has proven to be one of the hardest working lawyers at the firm. Kevin’s primary focus has been on representing property and casualty insurers in disputes over insurance coverage in a variety of contexts, including large property losses and complex questions of casualty insurance in both commercial and personal lines. Kevin has litigated insurance coverage disputes in federal and state court throughout Virginia, and has served as lead counsel in coverage litigation in Maryland, D.C., Tennessee, North Carolina, and Indiana. He has also provided legal opinions on insurance coverage for both property and casualty claims throughout the United States.
In addition to his coverage practice, Kevin is a highly respected civil defense attorney, focusing in recent years on representing clients in the transportation industry, the hospitality industry, the retail industry, and other business sectors in a variety of disputes ranging from personal injury to employment discrimination to complex contract disputes. He currently serves as Chair of the Policy Coverage Practice Section for the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, and is a member of the Executive Board for the Virginia Pond of the Blue Goose International.
