Charlie is a graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Journalism in 2010. He is an AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps alumnus, 2005/2006, where he worked on national service projects across the United States, primarily providing aid in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. Additionally, he is a former New York State EMT, and Wilderness EMT. In his off-time Charlie spends as much time as possible fishing on the James River.
