Setliff Law, P.C. Promotes Baltimore Office Associate to Partner
BALTIMORE (June 2010) Setliff Law, P.C. is pleased to announce the promotion of J. Christopher Nosher to partner in the law firm. Nosher will have the primary responsibility for handling transportation cases, particularly railroad, that are tried in Maryland.
“Chris has been a key part of the law firm’s success,” said Steve Setliff, one of the founding partners of the firm, “and we are excited to welcome him into the partnership.”
Nosher joined the firm as an associate when Setliff Law opened an office in Baltimore in 2008, and just a few months later he was promoted to administrative attorney for the office. Nosher’s practice focuses primarily on transportation law, but also includes criminal law, tort liability, personal injury, landlord tenant/premises liability, and general litigation.
Prior to joining Setliff Law, Nosher served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Homicide Division of the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office and as Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Richmond. He also worked as an associate with Troutman Sanders, LLP in the firm’s transportation and white collar crimes/special investigations practice groups.
Setliff Law’s founding partners, C. Stephen Setliff and Gregory F. Holland, opened the doors to the Glen Allen (Richmond) office in June 2006, followed in December 2008 by the opening of its second office in Baltimore, Maryland.
