Julie has more than twenty years’ experience in the legal profession. She graduated magna cum laude from Regis University in Denver, Colorado with dual degrees in Psychology and Religious Studies. She is active in the local LGBTQ community where she volunteers as a facilitator for at risk youth support groups. Julie has been a member of the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle, and her theatre reviews are published on her blog InkQueery.

Julie's articles, short stories, poems, and reviews have appeared in Lamba Literary Magazine, Curve Magazine, The Christian Science Monitor and several small e-zines. Julie’s dreams of becoming a published author have come true. Julie has two adult sons, , and is Omi to grandsons Franklin and Oliver and a granddaughter-to-be. She lives with her husband, David and their dog Max.
