Craig graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. She then attended the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, Georgia. Craig has 37 years of experience as a litigation paralegal at Mays and Valentine, Troutman Sanders, and Setliff Law, P.C. She was named one of the 2018 Unsung Legal Heroes by the Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
Craig started marathon training in 2010 and since then has completed five - the Richmond marathon twice, the Marine Corps marathon twice, and the New York City marathon once. Craig ran the NYC marathon as a member of the Alzheimer’s Association and raised several thousands of dollars as part of her efforts. She has completed two Ironmans, one in Florida and one in Chattanooga. Craig is a former member of Sportbackers and Trigirls/Triquest.
Craig recently received her boating license, and in addition to playing pickleball, has a renewed interest in tennis and golf. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son, and her boykin spaniel, Taffy.
