
Ms. Brim is an experienced attorney with a diverse legal background that includes work in private practice and at an innovative legal technology company. She has worked extensively in civil litigation.
Prior to joining Setliff Law, Ms. Brim spent most of her career in the D.C. office of a prestigious national law firm. Her practice focused on representing companies in product liability litigation and toxic tort litigation in state courts and federal courts around the country. Her experience includes representing companies in state coordinated proceedings, federal multi-district litigation, and class actions.
Ms. Brim has significant experience in all phases of trial work, from providing initial case assessment and strategy to managing a case through discovery, working with expert witnesses, preparing a case for trial, and assisting with trials. She has extensive experience researching and briefing critical strategic issues, including issues related to venue, personal jurisdiction, removal to federal court, summary judgment, and the admissibility of evidence. Ms. Brim also worked for a legal technology company where her work focused on researching and drafting legal content for a product designed to help attorneys write better briefs.
Outside of work, Ms. Brim enjoys getting outdoors for hikes with her dog, a lab/shepherd mix, watching college basketball, and figuring out when she can take her next trip to a beach.
